Standard fire fighting pump set
with END SUCTION PUMP

  • The PA pumps fully confirm the European pump standard DIN24255/BS EN733 and cover all sizes nominated.

  • This standard covers both performance and dimensions.

  • The PA pumps offer users many advantages over equivalent pumps because the rage incorporates many features that improve reliability and performance while simplifying maintenance and spare parts inventory.

with VERTICAL PUMP

  • To avoid frequent running of the main pump due to minor water leakage or a small volume of water required, the mounting of the vertical pump is installed.

  • The vertical pump will be activated when there is a water leakage within the pipeline, thus reducing the activity of the main pump.

Main parts and structure

1. Main pump

End suction back pull-out centrifugal pump

Back pull-out design for easy repair, shaft sealing with mechanical seal, and diverse material options of pump casing shaft and impeller.

Flow rate (Q): 2-1100 m³/h

Head (H): 2~150 m

Speed: 1750/3500 rpm

Temperature: -10°C ~ 105°C

Working pressure: 10 bar standard/16 bar optional

2. Water priming device

  • Outfit: Water storage tank for priming water, drain pipes for overflowing water, water-stopping clock with the removal of the remaining water, makeup water inlet connector (floating ball valve included), alarm device for low water level, auto water makeup device (check valve and water stop clock included).

  • The storage tank is made up of a steel plate with an effective storage volume above 100L.

  • The piping diameter of water supply pipes is 15A, drain lines of water overflow 50A, and the water priming pipe is 40A.

  • Floating ball switch for low water level, the alarm will be triggered if water drops to 1/2 of the tank capacity.

3. Thermal protector device

  • The discharging pipe for preventing the temperature of the water is connected to the primary side of the check valve to the discharging side of the water pump with an orifice plate mounted in between them so that the pump can discharge a minor volume of water into the room temperature water storage tank during its operation.

  • There shall be no valves with a diameter bigger than 15A mounted to the piping of discharging pipes to prevent the temperature rise of the water.

  • The water volume flowing inside the discharging pipe for preventing the temperature inside the water pump from going higher than 30°C when the pump is at the fully-shut status and continuous running condition.

4. Test device for flow rate and performance

  • Able to test the water capacity during the regular check.

  • Flow way flowmeter to measure and read directly rated water volume and the range of 150% rated flow.

  • Mounted pressure gauge with precision above 1.5 class

5. Main piping

  • If the required head is over 100m; ductile iron silent check valve, ductile iron check valve, Other connecting piping, 20K flange.

  • If the required head is below 100m; Cast iron silent check valve, cast iron gate valve, other connecting piping, and 10K flanges.

6. Control panel

  • Indicators: Power supply indicator, start indicator, water-reducing indicator of priming tank, overload indicator, automatic isolation indicator.

  • Operation switches: Stop push button switch, reset switch, auto/stop/manual selection switch.

 

  • Alarm devices: Alarm buzzers for the overload of electric motor and water reduction of priming tank; Manual and direct operation is needed to stop buzzing and reset the buzzer; Motor will not stop automatically when alarm buzzer is triggered.

  • Instrument: Amp meter and Volt meter.

 

  • Terminals: Input terminal for a start, an input terminal for detecting the water reduction in the priming tank, an output terminal for alarm signal, an output terminal for the pump's running signal, terminal for grounding.

  • No-fuse breaker, electromagnetic switch, thermal relay.

 

7. Pressure tank

  • The standard capacity of the pressure tank is 100L, and the maximum working is 2.0 Mpa.

  • Equipped with pressure gauges and pressure switch, bronze gate valve, and safety valve.

8. Pressure gauge and vacuum meter.

  • Pressure gauge and vacuum meter with precision above 1.5 level.

9. Electric motor

  • Output range: 5.5~75kW specifications are available upon special request.

  • Voltage: 220V/440V, 380/660V

  • Hertz: 60Hz

  • IP54: insulation E, B, F, E; enclosed fan cooled induction motor (IEC standard)

  • Pole: 2P ~ 4P

  • RPM: 1750rpm ~ 3500rpm 

10. Vertical pump

  • To avoid frequent running of the main pump due to minor water leakage or small water required, the vertical pump is installed to add more durability to the main pump.
