VISANITEC HUMIDIFIER
VISANITEC ULTRASONIC AIR HUMIDIFIER
Creating A Safe & Better Environment
What is VISANITEC Ultrasonic Air Humidifier?
VISANITEC Ultrasonic Air Humidifier is a device that diffuses microparticles of water in the environment that provides the necessary humidity in the air, when the humidity is low in the environment we are more prone to contracting respiratory diseases. It uses a high-frequency oscillation of 1.7Mhz to turn the water into the mist with 1-5 ultra-micro. The molecular structure of liquid produces naturally flowing water mist, without heating or adding any chemical reagent.
How does Ultrasonic Air Humidifier work?
It converts pure water into small particles that evaporate in the air.
A transformer converts a high-frequency electronic signal to a high-frequency mechanical oscillation.
The surface of the oscillator vibrates at such high speed that the water can no longer follow the movement due to its inertia, producing a column of water. A vacuum is created during the negative amplitude of the oscillator. Cavitation gives rise to bubbles that are "catapulted" to the edge of the water column during the positive amplitude, where they collide with each another. Water particles are atomized at the edge of the water column, forming a mist that is assimilated into the airflow.
Fig. 1: The humidifier is switched on. The oscillator amplitude is positive.
Fig. 2: The oscillator amplitude is negative. The inertia of the water creates a vacuum.
Fig. 3: After approx. 10 amplitudes, the ultrasonic humidifier reaches 100% of its output.
Benefits of Ultrasonic Humidifier
- Thanks to the size of its nebulized particles, it reaches all hard-to-reach corners on all types of surfaces including furniture, walls, floors.
- It can also reduce static electricity problems or those irritating "spark" that sometimes arise when our fingers lightly touch something in the house or offices.
- Improves the sensation of dryness in the eyes, lips, skin. Itching and peeling of the skin in diseases such as eczema, atopic dermatitis, etc; can be greatly worsened by poor environmental hydration.
Children and the elderly are much more sensitive to environmental dryness. The children have not yet developed the defenses of an adult, and those of the elderly are no longer as resistant as in a younger age. For this reason, it is especially convenient for these two age groups to live in an environment with adequate humidity.
Does a Humidifier help against the coronavirus?
Usually, viruses do not just float in the air but are attached to the finest water droplets (particles). Those can remain airborne for a certain time. During this time, the risk of infection is very high. The behavior of these particles is different in dry and humid conditions. In dry air, the particles are lighter and therefore remain in the air for a longer time. The humid and heavier particles fall down to the ground or to surfaces where they are less harmful. In optimally humidified air the exposure to viruses can therefore be reduced.
Should a Humidifier protect us from the coronavirus?
Using a humidifier can be beneficial to reduce exposure to coronavirus. However, even more, important are the protection measures we do have in our own body (e.g. mucous membranes). Our immune system works best with optimally humidified air. This means that a level of 40 to 60% relative humidity helps our body to be strong and healthy and optimally protect itself against external influences.
Negative Ions
VISANITEC Ultrasonic Air Humidifier also releases Negative Ions, Ionization does not happen spontaneously, it takes energy. In nature, negative ions are generated by processes such as sunlight, lightning, waves from the ocean, and from waterfalls. "Concrete Jungles" minimize the natural production of negative ions by disrupting the delicate electrical balance between the atmosphere and the earth. Ionizer/ionic air purifiers recreate them with electrode pins ("needlepoints") to electrically produce negative ions.
What are Negative Ions?
Ions are invisible particles, either molecules or atoms, which bear an electric charge. Atoms, for instance, consist of an atomic nucleus that contains neutral neutrons and positively charged protons, as well as orbiting electrons that are negatively charged. When an atom is in a neutral condition, the number of protons (+) and electrons (-) is equal. When the number of protons and electrons is not the same, the particle becomes an ion that is either positively or negatively charged.
How Negative Ions Purify the Air?
Virtually all particles in the air have a positive charge, while negative ions have a negative charge. In which case, negative ions and particles magnetically attract one another. When there is a high enough concentration of negative ions in the air, they will attract floating particles in large numbers. This causes the particle to become too heavy to remain airborne. As a result, the particle will fall out of the air, and will then be collected by normal cleaning activities, such as vacuuming or dusting.
