AW-D301
Addressable Smoke Detector
The AW-D301 is an addressable photoelectric smoke detector designed for use with the Asenware AW-FP300 panel series. It uses an internal single-chip microprocessor to analyze smoke concentrations in real time and communicate with the main control panel via a two-wire bus.
Suitable Applications
- Recommended Environments: Commercial and industrial spaces where smoldering fires generate visible smoke, such as offices, hotels, school classrooms, computer server rooms, libraries, and archives.
- Not Recommended: Environments with heavy dust buildup, high steam/oil mist, continuous water vapor, or locations where background smoke is normally present.
Key Features
- Electronic Coding: Addressable via an in-situ handheld coder across a range of 1 to 324 addresses on a single loop.
- Drift Compensation & Diagnostics: Automatically compensates for environmental changes (temperature, humidity, and dust accumulation) and reports sensor faults directly to the control panel.
- Data History: Saves up to 144 historical data points for field-situation curve tracing.
- Non-Polarity Wiring: Simplified two-wire loop connection reduces installation and wiring errors.
- Visual Status Indicator: Features a red LED that flashes during normal polling and remains constantly lit during an alarm condition.
- Remote Indicator Support: Includes built-in terminal outputs to drive an external remote indicator LED.
