Operation Cycles
The manual handwheel allows you to cycle through the following stages:
- Service: Normal water treatment/softening mode.
- Backwash: Reverses flow to loosen the resin bed and remove accumulated debris.
- Brine & Slow Rinse: Draws salt solution from the brine tank into the resin bed for regeneration.
- Brine Refill: Directs water back into the brine tank to prepare for the next cycle.
- Fast Rinse: Rinses out any remaining brine and settles the resin bed before returning to service.
Key Features
- Hermetic Head Faces: The valve uses high-flatness, corrosion-resistant ceramic disks for sealing. This design ensures a reliable, leak-proof seal and a long service life.
- Hydraulically Balanced Piston: Unlike smaller rotary valves, the F112AS operates by pushing or pulling hydraulically balanced pistons to change flow passages, making it easier to operate even under higher pressure.
- Manual Operation: It uses a handwheel for manual switching between functions. It does not require a power supply for the regeneration process.
- Multi-Functionality: Integrates five functions into one valve: Service, Backwash, Brine & Slow Rinse, Brine Refill, and Fast Rinse.
