Primary Applications
The F112BS is a versatile industrial valve suited for several applications:
- RO Pre-treatment: Used as a primary filter (sand or carbon) before Reverse Osmosis systems to protect membranes.
- Swimming Pool Filtration: Suitable for large-scale pool circulation and cleaning.
- Industrial Water Treatment: Ideal for iron and manganese removal systems or activated carbon filtration in factories.
- Multi-media Filters: Manages gravel, anthracite coal, and quartz sand media tanks.
Three Working Modes:
- Service (Filter): Standard water treatment path.
- Backwash: Reverses flow to flush out trapped debris from the media.
- Fast Rinse: Resets the media and flushes the tank before returning to service.
Key Features
The F112BS is designed as a simple and durable solution for manual filter control with several notable features:
- Operation Modes: The valve allows operators to manually switch between three primary positions: Service (normal filtration), Backwash (cleaning the filter media by reversing flow), and Fast Rinse (re-packing the media bed before returning to service).
- Flow Control: It uses a corrosion-resistant gasket and a hydraulically balanced piston design. This enables the different flow passages to be easily controlled by pushing or pulling a piston, making mode switching smooth even under line pressure.
- System Integration: The manual explicitly covers advanced system configurations for installations with multiple tanks:
- Interlock: For parallel systems, this ensures that only one valve is in regeneration or washing mode at a time, guaranteeing a continuous supply of treated water.
- Pressure Relief Output: Deep well applications can experience pressure spikes. This feature can be used to connect a solenoid valve to relieve pressure and protect the system.
