RUNXIN F56AC

The Runxin F56AC is a manual multiport filter valve designed for water treatment systems. It features a side-mounted control that utilizes a handwheel instead of a lever handle. This design makes it particularly suitable for systems where top clearance or ease of rotation is essential.

Specification

  • Valve Type: Manual Multi-Port Filter Valve
  • Flow Capacity: 4 m³/h
  • Mount Type: Top Mount
  • Inlet/Outlet Size: 1" Female Thread
  • Drain: 1" Female Thread
  • Riser Pipe: 1.05 Outside Diameter
  • Water Turbidity: <20 FTU
  • Working Pressure: 0.15 - 0.6 MPa (1.5 - 6 bar)
  • Water Temperature: 5°C - 50°C (41°F - 122°F)
  • Mounting Base: 2.5"-8NPSM
  • Filter Tank: 6" - 12"

Primary Applications

Ideal for residential and light commercial filtration systems:

  • Residential Filtration: Whole-house sand or carbon filters.
  • RO Pre-treatment: Used as the primary sediment or carbon stage before a Reverse Osmosis unit.
  • Swimming Pool Equipment: Small-scale pool or pond filtration.
  • Iron/Manganese Removal: Compatible with media used for mineral extraction.

Overview

The valve supports three primary functions, usually cycled in this order:

  • Service: Normal filtration mode where water passes through the media.
  • Backwash: Reverses the flow to lift the filter bed and flush out accumulated debris.
  • Fast Rinse: Settles the media bed after backwashing and flushes any remaining sediment to the drain before returning to service.

Key Features

  • Hermetic Head Faces: Uses high-degree pottery (ceramic) sealing disks that are corrosion-resistant and provide a reliable, leak-proof seal for opening and closing.
  • Pressure Operation: The valve is designed to be switched between positions while the system is under pressure, meaning you don't necessarily have to shut off the pump to change settings.
  • No Raw Water Bypass: During backwash or fast rinse cycles, the valve typically blocks the outlet to prevent untreated water from entering the service line.
  • Side-Handwheel Design: Unlike the standard F56A (which uses a top lever), the F56AC features a plastic handwheel on the side. This is beneficial for installations with tight vertical space.
