RUNXIN F56D

The Runxin F56D is a high-capacity, manual multiport valve specifically designed for industrial and commercial water filtration systems. It is a top-mount valve, which means it is installed directly onto the opening at the top of a filter tank. The valve is operated by a manual handle that controls the filter, backwash, and rinse cycles.

Specification

  • Valve Type: Manual Multi-Port Filter Valve
  • Flow Capacity: 10 m³/h
  • Mount Type: Top Mount
  • Inlet/Outlet Size: 2" Female Thread
  • Drain: 2" Female Thread
  • Riser Pipe: 1.5" D-GB (50m OD)
  • Water Turbidity: <20 FTU
  • Working Pressure: 0.15 - 0.6 MPa (1.5 - 6 bar)
  • Water Temperature: 5°C - 50°C (41°F - 122°F)
  • Mounting Base: 4"-8UN
  • Filter Tank: 10" - 24"

Primary Applications

  • RO Pre-treatment: Protecting Reverse Osmosis membranes from sediment and chlorine.
  • Swimming Pool Filtration: Managing high-volume sand- or glass-media filters.
  • Iron & Manganese Removal: Used with Birm or greensand media in well water systems.
  • Industrial Cooling: Filtering suspended solids in circulating water systems.

Operational Modes

The valve follows a specific flow path to maintain the filter media (such as sand, activated carbon, or manganese sand):

  • Service: The standard filtration mode filters raw water and directs it to the outlet.
  • Backwash: Reverses the flow of water to lift the filter bed and flush out trapped debris or sediment through the drain.
  • Fast rinse: Quickly cleans the media to settle the bed after backwashing and ensures the water is clear before returning to service mode.

Key Features

  • Hermetic Head Faces: The valve utilizes high-hardness, corrosion-resistant ceramic disks for the primary seal. This provides a leak-proof seal and a significantly longer lifespan compared to rubber gaskets.
  • Manual Operation: Controlled by a robust metal or plastic handle that rotates 180°. It requires no power, making it ideal for remote locations or areas with unstable electricity.
  • No Raw Water Bypass: During the "Fast Rinse" cycle, the valve is designed so that no untreated water passes through the outlet, ensuring system integrity.
  • Pressure-Safe Switching: You can switch between functions while the system is under pressure without damaging the internal seals.
  • Flexible Mounting: While typically top-mounted, it can be converted to a side-mounted configuration with an optional side-mounted connector.
