RUNXIN F64A1

The Runxin F64A1 is a manual, top-mount multiport control valve designed specifically for water softening and industrial filtration systems.

It uses a handwheel to switch between regeneration cycles and requires no electricity to operate, making it a simple, robust replacement for automatic systems.

Specification

  • Valve Type: Manual Softener Valve
  • Flow Capacity: 4.5 m³/h
  • Mount Type: Top Mount
  • Regeneration Type: Down-flow
  • Inlet/Outlet Size: 1" Female Thread
  • Drain: 1/2" Male Thread
  • Brine Line: 3/8" Male Thread
  • Water Turbidity: <5 FTU
  • Working Pressure: 0.15 - 0.6 MPa (1.5 - 6 bar)
  • Water Temperature: 5°C - 50°C (41°F - 122°F)
  • Mounting Base: 2.5"-8NPSM
  • Riser Pipe: 1.05" Outside Diameter
  • Filter Tank: 6" - 18"

Primary Applications

This valve is best suited for situations where automation is not required or desired. Typical uses include:

  • Residential Water Softeners (specifically for manual regeneration).
  • Boiler Feed Water pretreatment systems.
  • Reverse Osmosis (RO) Pretreatment.
  • Remote installations where access to electricity is limited.
  • Iron reduction filters, when paired with appropriate media.
  • Portable Water Treatment setups.

Operation Cycles

The F64A1 features a 5-stage manual control system. By rotating the handwheel, you cycle through the following modes:

  • Service: Normal water softening/filtration mode.
  • Backwash: Reverses flow to loosen the resin bed and remove accumulated debris.
  • Brine & Slow Rinse: Draws salt brine into the tank to regenerate the resin.
  • Brine Refill: Directs water into the salt tank to prepare brine for the next cycle.
  • Fast Rinse: Flushes out any remaining brine and settles the resin bed before returning to service.

Key Features

  • Hermetic Head Faces: The valve uses high-degree ceramic and corrosion-resistant moving plates. This provides a reliable seal and prevents leaking even under high pressure.
  • Manual Operation: Designed for areas without stable electricity or where full automation isn't required. It uses a sturdy metal handle (unlike the F64A2, which typically features a plastic handle).
  • No Raw Water Bypass: During the regeneration process, the valve blocks the outlet so that untreated hard water does not enter your plumbing system.
  • Flexible Installation: While primarily a top-mount valve, it can be adapted for side-mounting using a specific side-mount connector.
