RUNXIN F64BC
RUNXIN F64BC
The Runxin F64BC is a manual multi-port control valve designed for water softening and demineralization systems.
It is a "Side-Controlled" version of the standard F64 series, meaning the handle is positioned on the side instead of on the top. This design is ideal for installations with height restrictions or specific piping configurations.

Primary Applications
- Pre-treatment for RO Systems: Protecting membranes by removing sediment and chlorine.
- Swimming Pool Filtration: Managing large volumes of water for clarity.
- Industrial Boiler Feed: Ensuring water is free of particulates.
- Demineralization: Used in multi-step ion exchange setups.
Operation Cycles
As a 5-position valve, the F64BC manages the entire lifecycle of the ion-exchange resin through the following handle positions:
- Service (Normal Operation): Water flows through the resin tank for softening.
- Backwash: Water flows upward to lift and clean the resin bed, removing sediment.
- Brine & Slow Rinse: Salt brine is drawn from the brine tank to regenerate the resin, followed by a slow rinse to remove displaced hardness ions.
- Brine Refill: The brine tank is refilled with water to prepare salt for the next regeneration.
- Fast Rinse: A final, high-velocity rinse to compact the resin bed and ensure the water is soft before returning to service.
Key Features
- Hermetic Head Faces: The valve uses high-hardness, corrosion-resistant ceramic moving disks. This provides a superior seal compared to traditional plastic/rubber gaskets and significantly extends the valve’s lifespan.
- No Water Bypass: During the regeneration process, the valve is designed so that no hard water passes through to the service line (single tank type).
- Manual Control: It uses a physical handle (metal or plastic options) for operation, making it highly reliable in areas with unstable power or for users who prefer manual maintenance.
- Pressure Operation: Can be operated under pressure without damaging the internal ceramic disks.
