RUNXIN F64D

The Runxin F64D is a high-flow, manual multiport softener control valve intended for commercial and industrial water treatment applications.

It is a manually operated valve that does not need an electrical connection and is designed to manage service flow rates of up to 10 m³/h.

Specification

  • Valve Type: Manual Softener Valve
  • Flow Capacity: 10 m³/h
  • Mount Type: Top Mount
  • Regeneration Type: Down-flow
  • Inlet/Outlet Size: 2" Male Thread
  • Drain: 1" Male Thread
  • Brine Line: 1/2" Male Thread
  • Water Turbidity: <5 FTU
  • Working Pressure: 0.15 - 0.6 MPa (1.5 - 6 bar)
  • Water Temperature: 5°C - 50°C (41°F - 122°F)
  • Mounting Base: 2.5"-8NPSM
  • Riser Pipe: 1.5" D-GB (50mm OD)
  • Filter Tank: 10" - 30"

Primary Applications

The Runxin F64AC is a versatile valve used in several water treatment scenarios, including :

  • Residential and light commercial water softening systems.
  • Boiler feed water softening to prevent scale buildup.
  • Reverse osmosis (RO) pretreatment systems.
  • General ion exchange and filtration equipment.

Operation Cycles

Because this is a manual valve, the operator must physically move the handle to each position:

  • Service: Normal operation where hard water is softened.
  • Backwash: Reverses water flow to loosen the resin bed and wash away sediment.
  • Brine & Slow Rinse: Draws salt water from the brine tank into the resin for chemical regeneration, followed by a slow rinse.
  • Brine Refill: Adds water back into the brine tank to prepare salt for the next cycle.
  • Fast Rinse: Flushes out any remaining salt or brine taste before returning to Service.

Key Features

  • Manual Regeneration Cycle: The valve is operated by turning a handwheel, which allows the user to manually advance through the five stages of the regeneration process: Service, Backwash, Brine & Slow Rinse, Brine Refill, and Fast Rinse.
  • Ceramic Sealing Technology: The F64D uses a high-flatness, wear-resistant, and corrosion-resistant ceramic disc seal, which ensures a long operational life and provides a reliable seal.
  • No Electrical Power Needed: Because it is a fully manual valve, it operates without a control box or power supply, making it a reliable choice for locations with inconsistent electricity or for simple system designs. The handwheel provides direct control over all functions.
  • Regeneration Function: During the regeneration cycle, the valve is designed to prevent untreated ("hard") water from flowing out of the outlet port, ensuring that the downstream plumbing does not receive unsanctioned water.
  • Flexible Application: The valve can be used for water softening by connecting it to a brine tank, or for filtration by capping the brine line connector.
