RUNXIN F77AS
RUNXIN F77AS
The Runxin F77AS is a high-flow manual multiport control valve specifically designed for water softening and ion exchange systems.
It is well known for its "dual valve core" design, which enables effective handling of large volumes of water, making it essential in industrial and large-scale commercial pretreatment.

Primary Applications
- Boiler Feed Water: Softening water to prevent scale buildup in industrial boilers.
- RO Pretreatment: Removing hardness to protect Reverse Osmosis membranes.
- Ion Exchange: Used in demineralization and other chemical water treatment processes.
- Cooling Systems: Reducing mineral content in circulating cooling water.
Operation Cycles
- Service: Normal water softening mode.
- Backwash: Flushes the resin bed to remove accumulated sediment.
- Brine & Slow Rinse: Draws brine (saltwater) into the tank to regenerate the resin and rinses it slowly.
- Brine Refill: Refills the brine tank with water to prepare for the next cycle.
- Fast Rinse: Settles the resin bed and removes any remaining brine before returning to service.
Key Features
The F77AS is designed with specific features that make it a practical choice for various applications.
- Dual-Core Design: The valve features two separate internal cores: one for controlling the inflow of water and the other for managing the outflow. This design is intended to ensure reliable sealing and offers a simple yet robust structure. It utilizes high-grade, corrosion-resistant ceramic for its sealing surfaces.
- Manual Brine Refill: The brine refill process is managed by a manual external ball valve. This enables the operator to initiate the brine refill during the service cycle, potentially reducing the overall regeneration cycle time.
- Flexible Mounting Options: The valve can be installed in either a top or side mount configuration by using a separate side-mounted connector, offering flexibility for various system designs.
- No Water in Regeneration: In a single-tank configuration, the valve is designed to prevent water from passing through it during the regeneration process, thus isolating the system.
