RUNXIN F96B1

The Runxin F96B1 is a fully automatic multiport filter valve with high capacity, designed specifically for commercial and industrial water filtration systems.

It is commonly used to manage sand filters, activated carbon filters, and other filtration media vessels.

Unlike its counterpart, the F96B3, which operates based on water volume, the F96B1 is a time clock type that initiates regeneration cycles at preset time intervals.

Specification

  • Valve Type: Automatic Filter Valve (Time Clock Type)
  • Flow Capacity: 50 m³/h
  • Mount Type: Side Mount
  • Inlet/Outlet Size: DN80
  • Drain: DN80
  • Water Turbidity: <20 FTU
  • Working Pressure: 0.15 - 0.6 MPa (1.5 - 6 bar)
  • Water Temperature: 5°C - 50°C (41°F - 122°F)
  • Mounting Base: Side mount, Top & Bottom basket DN100
  • Riser Pipe: Side mount, Top & Bottom basket DN100
  • Filter Tank: 36" - 48"

Primary Applications

  • Pre-treatment for RO Systems: Protecting membranes by removing sediment and chlorine.
  • Swimming Pool Filtration: Managing large volumes of water for clarity.
  • Industrial Boiler Feed: Ensuring water is free of particulates.
  • Demineralization: Used in multi-step ion exchange setups.

Three Working Modes:

  • Service: The normal filtration mode, where untreated water flows through the media bed and is filtered.
  • Backwash: The flow is reversed to lift and flush out accumulated dirt and debris from the filter media to the drain.
  • Fast Rinse: Water flows downward at a high rate to re-compact the media bed and rinse away any remaining fine particles before returning to service.

Key Features

  • Hermetic Head Faces: The valve uses high-hardness, corrosion-resistant ceramic discs for the sealing mechanism. This provides a tighter seal and significantly higher durability compared to traditional piston-based valves.
  • LED Dynamic Display: A bright screen shows the current status of the valve (e.g., Service, Backwash, Fast Rinse). A flashing stripe typically indicates the valve is in "Service" mode.
  • Button Lock: If no operation is performed within one minute, the buttons lock automatically to prevent accidental setting changes.
  • Power-Down Memory: If power is lost for less than three days, the valve retains its settings and current time. If the outage is longer, only the "Time of Day" needs to be reset; all other parameters remain saved.
  • No Hard Water Bypass: During the rinsing/regeneration cycle, the valve is designed so that no water passes through to the outlet, ensuring only filtered water reaches the destination.
  • Interlock Function: Allows multiple valves in a system to communicate so that only one valve regenerates at a time, maintaining consistent system pressure.
  • Signal Output: Includes a connector for external equipment (like a pump or solenoid valve) that needs to trigger when the valve enters regeneration.
  • Remote Handling: Includes an input connector that allows for a remote signal to trigger an immediate regeneration.
  • Pressure Relief: Features a dedicated connector to release pressure during cycle transitions.
