UPVC COUPLING REDUCER
UPVC COUPLING REDUCER
UPVC reducer coupling fittings (also known as outside reducers) are used to connect two UPVC pipes of different diameters while maintaining a clean, aligned flow path.
With consistent dimensions and a smooth internal bore, the reducer coupler help maintan flow efficiency and reduce turbulence compared to improvised transitions.
Key Features and Advantages
The reducer coupling is designed for simplicity and reliability.
Solvent Welding: The connection is made using a special solvent cement. When applied, it chemically fuses the pipe and the fitting into a single continuous piece of plastic. This results in a joint that is stronger than the pipe itself and completely leak-proof.
Exceptional Durability: They are highly resistant to chemical and acid/alkali corrosion and have a long service life.
Lightweight and Strong: UPVC is about one-sixth the weight of cast-iron, making it easier to transport and install, while still maintaining high tensile strength.
Smooth Flow: The interior surface is very smooth, which minimizes friction loss and resistance to flow, and also helps prevent fouling and blockage.
