UPVC ELBOW 90° THREAD
ZYPE UPVC THREADED ELBOW 90°
UPVC threaded 90° elbow is a type of pipe fitting designed to connect two pipes at a right angle, using a combination of threaded and solvent-weld joints to change the direction of flow in a plumbing system.
Basic Function, Design, Material, and Key Specifications
Primary Function: Changes the direction of fluid flow by 90 degrees within a piping system.
Connection Type: Features one end with threads and the other end designed for solvent welding. This allows connecting a threaded pipe, valve, or fittings on one side and solvent-welding a standard UPVC pipe on the other.
Thread Standard: NPT (National Pipe Tapered) ASTM D2466.
Material: Made from Unplasticized Polyvinyl Chloride.
Pressure Ratings: The maximum working pressure is highly dependent on temperature. Typical rating is 10 bar (approximately 145 psi) at 23°C. As the temperature increases, the pressure rating decreases significantly.
