Three-Piece Design
- Two End Pieces: These connect to the pipe ends, either by solvent welding.

A Central Nut: This threaded ring screws onto the end pieces, drawing them together tightly.

A Sealing Ring: Inside the fitting, a gasket made of EPDM rubber compresses when the nut is tightened, creating a leak-proof seal.
